Head coach of Accra Hearts of Oak, Didi Dramani, has expressed his disappointments in his team's 1-1 draw against Basake Holy Stars in the Ghana Premier League encounter.

Speaking after the game, Dramani admitted his team controlled large spells of the match but failed to make the right decisions in crucial moments.

“I think we knew the opponent would sit back, so we expected to control a greater part of the game."

“But the most important thing was how we utilized the spaces and made the right decisions, especially in key moments. Unfortunately, we were not purposeful enough,” he said.

The Hearts coach also acknowledged that the red card affected their momentum and energy levels during the remainder of the match.

“It’s always better to play with numerical strength rather than a disadvantage. The energy depletion becomes greater and that affects the way the team performs.”

“Sometimes you have to credit the opponent because they may have defended well, or we didn’t execute properly. We missed the timing and movements,” he added.

Looking ahead, Dramani said the team will use the upcoming FA Cup break to address several issues before returning to league action on Matchday 26.

“There are many things we need to work on, particularly decision-making. We give the players the cues and scenarios, but when it comes to the game, they must execute,” he noted.
