Military personnel to provide security at Division One matches

The Division One Board wishes to inform Clubs and all stakeholders in Zone One that in view of the unfortunate incidents that have occurred at various League centers in the ongoing season, the board shall deploy military personnel to provide security at some high profile matches from Match day Twenty-six (26).

All Division One clubs in Zone One are hereby requested to cooperate with the military personnel deployed to their respective venues to ensure peace and security during matches for the final stretch of the league.

Meanwhile, the DOLB will hold an all Stakeholders meeting with clubs and security officials on Tuesday 15th August, 2017 to discuss best measures to curb the recurring acts of violence at venues in the zone.

Next Tuesday's meeting will be held at the Sunyani Coronation Park at 10:00am.
