Milan must beat Cagliari â?? Muntari

The experienced Ghanaian midfielder has emphasised that the Rossoneri are unhappy with the draw with Fiorentina and must beat Cagliari today at all cost

Ghana international Sulley Muntari has revealed that his team-mates at AC Milan are disappointed with the 1-1 draw with Fiorentina over the weekend and are bent on beating Cagliari today.

Milan who are enjoying some good spell under Filipo Inzaghi took the lead against Fiorentina at San Siro in the 25th minute through Nigel De Jong before Slovenian playmaker Josip Ilicic equalised for the away side 20 minutes after the break.

“We continue to work as usual. We lost two important points for third place but it is not a drama, we keep working as hard as ever and we get to the end. The Milan staff are doing a great job,” Muntari told Milan Channel.

“The league is close and becoming difficult but we are determined, we are continuing on our way. We worked hard on the pattern.”

Muntari added: “We are not happy because we drew, but now we have to think of Cagliari. Now we want to go and win the game in Cagliari.
