Media accreditation and television rights for GPL

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has said all accreditation cards for last season are still valid for the 2015/16 Football season, which also includes FA cup matches.

A statement from the GFA said, individuals who applied for media accreditation cards but were not issued last year will be issued by the close of week.

The statement stated that, all media houses applying for cards must have their application requests on a letter head of their media house and signed by a designated official of the media house adding that the request must reach the FA by close of day on Wednesday, February 17, 2016.

It said an amount of GH¢ 20 is to be paid at the accounts office of the GFA for replacement of lost accreditation cards and receipts of payment attached to application letter being submitted adding that replacement will be processed without proof of payment.

The statement also urged all television stations interested in covering the premier league to contact Multichoice Ghana for the necessary rights arrangements.

The accreditation process has also been opened to new applicants.
