Medeama set to appoint Evans Adotey as head coach

Medeama SC technical director, Evans Adortey has disclosed he will soon meet management of the club to address agitations of the club’s supporters to appoint him as substantive head Coach.

Evans also doubles as head coach of the Ghana U-17 female’s national team.

Agitated fans of the club prevented the head coach, Prince Owusu from training with the team last week after their painful exit from the CAF Confederation Cup competition.

The fans want Mr. Adortey appointed to lead the club since they believe he’s riper to do the job.

Speaking to Asempa Sports in an interview, Adortey said “Yes, the club fans want me to sign a contract as head coach before I leave for Jordan’’.

He added’’ I am due to have a meeting with management to address supporter’s agitations and hopeful there will be an amicable solution.”

Adortey guided the Tarkwa based club to a win over Berekum Chelsea in their outstanding Ghana Premier League fixture on Sunday.
