Medeama SC Coach Evans Adotey was very excited and praised his players for the ‘important’ victory over Bechem United in the Ghana Premier League on Saturday.

Defenders Amos Korankye and Paul Aidoo scored as Mauves defeated the Hunters by 2-0 at the T&A park to move up the log to 8th position.

“It is a good win, my boys did well, it is an important win because this win will help us meet our target this season,” he said after the game.

“Coming into the season we set a target and at the beginning of the League things weren’t going well so winning this particular game gives us confidence ahead of the remaining matches.”

Medeama FC will be hoping to better their fourth place finish in the Ghana Premier League last season.
