Medeama SC completed their first round of matches in the Ghana Premier League with a 2-0 win over Techiman City in their outstanding League game on Tuesday morning.

The Mauves, who had an awful campaign at the beginning of the season, were able to secure victory to go level on point with Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko.

Bismark Oppong scored Medeama’s first before Kwesi Dons connected a spot kick to ensure Coach Prince Owusu’s side snatch their eighth win of the season.

The win moves Medeama to 5th on the League table with 26points after 15 matches.

The team is expected to travel to Accra before leaving for their CAF Confederations Cup clash against TP Mazembe on Thursday.

The League, which is currently on break, is expected to resume on June 26.
