Medeama SC demands 1.2billion old cedis for Kwame Boahene

Kumasi Asante Kotoko Sporting Club have been told to pay an amount of GHC120,000.00 for the services of Kwame Boahene by Medeama Sporting Club; Kickgh.com has gathered.

The Yellow and Mauves outfit have slapped a price tag of Ghc 120,000.00 for their prize asset in their attempt to ward off interest from local base clubs.

The 23-year-old flanks many has courted a lot of interest from many elite division clubs including Kotoko and Hearts - with the former asking to cough-up an abnormal fee for the services of the talented winger by his club when they made their intention clear to add him to their squad roster.

A source close to the player hinted Kickgh.com: "Kotoko have been asked to pay 1.2 billion old cedis for Kwame Boahene. I think Medeama want to keep hold of him and get him a foreign contract in the course of next season. They're trying to ward off any interest from the local clubs and I think that's why they quoted such figure for his services.''
