Medeama SC Coach Evans Adotey has hailed his team for the victory over Bechem United in the Ghana Premier League on Saturday.

The former Ghana FA Cup Champions defeated Bechem United 2-0 at the Takwa T&A Park to record their second straight home win and third victory of the season.

Defenders Amos Korankye and Paul Aidoo scored the two goals for Medeama who moved to the eighth position on the table.

Adotey believes the win could compound them to meet their target this season.

“It is a good win, my boy did well, it is an important win because this win will help us meet our target this season,” he said after the game.

“Coming into the season we set a target and at the beginning of the League things weren’t going well so winning this particular game gives us confidence ahead of the remaining matches.”

Medeama FC will be hoping to better their fourth place finish in the Ghana Premier League last season.
