McDan under 18 boys tourney begins today

All is set for the much anticipated McDan under 18 Boys tourney which commences today and ends on Saturday at the Accra Sports Stadium and McDan's residence

Over 32 junior tennis players are expected to battle for honours in a tough encounter which is aimed at discovering and nurturing talents in the country.

The upcoming junior tournament is sponsored by Dr. Daniel Mckorley, Group CEO of Mcdan’s Group of Companies in collaboration with Ghana Tennis Federation with support from Tennis Foundation Ghana.

Dr. Daniel Mckorley who is a tennis enthusiast, excited about the prospect of the tourney and can’t wait to host the semifinal and final matches at his Residence in East Legon.

The competition is meant to prepare junior players within the ages of 16 to 18 for transition into professional tennis players and thus the Ghana Tennis Federation decided to initiate an open tourney for the such players and also ranked them according to their performance.

A visit to the Accra Tennis courts and other courts have proved that junior players are preparing for the event very well.
