Black Stars B head coach Maxwell Konadu has explained the reason he included Karela United striker Diawusie Taylor in the Black Stars ahead of their encounter with Burkina Faso.
The striker who was on the radar of several clubs from abroad has returned to the country after unsuccessful trials in Europe.
However, Coach Maxwell Konadu has since invited Taylor to the Black Stars B after failing to land a deal in Europe.
Despite having the likes of Joseph Esso, Shafiu Mumuni, Richard Arthur and Opoku Agyemang in the team, Maxwell Konadu has explained why there was a need to invite the Karela United striker.
“Taylor we all know how he performed in the normalization committee special tournament and we can say he did so well so it’s important to invite him to the team if only he’s available.
“Taylor is currently not doing bad in camp, but we have to wait for the last training session so we can assess everyone and make the final decision.
“Every player is fine and anybody can start, we have position everybody and until we finish our last training session, everyone in camp can start,” he told footballmadeinghana.com
