Match Fixing Scandal Engulf DOL Zone 1B Last Round Matches

Impeccable sources from top management members of Universal FC and Berlin FC both division one clubs in zone 1B have hinted Ghana Football Association Executive Committee Member

George Afriyie has approached both clubs with huge amount of Ghana Cedi to influence the impending division one last round of matches. According one source who pleaded strict anonymity , Mr. Afriyie is so desperate to qualify division one side Unity FC based in Hwidiem for this year national middle league from zone 1B.

Unity FC occupies third position with 18 points behind league leader Bechem United who have 23 points and BA United with 19 points.

As the league enters the final stages , revelations have it that George Afriyie has offered GH¢15,000.00 bribe to Berlin FC officials for a win in their last match in Berekum. Afriyie has accorgingly offered GH¢10,000.00 as bonus to Techiman Universal Stars if they beat BA United in Techiman.

For Unity FC to qualify for middle league , the team needs at least a draw with the hope that BA United will be defeated in their match with Universal Stars .
