Intern Martha Kumbah Foyoh says has shared the invaluable experience garnered from working with Hearts of Oak's medical team for the last four weeks.

The University of Kent student was attached to the Phobians as part of her internship program.

''In terms of Hearts of Oak, I have enjoyed it very much because I have never had outside experience [outside my University setting] so for me to come out and be on the field and actually work with players and be put on the spot; to think of the actual injuries and conduct a rehab, I have learnt a lot through that and I will take it back with me and try to add that to what I learnt in my last year,'' Ms Foyoh told the club's website.

''I think the big[gest] challenge was thinking on the spot and trying to think of a rehab session. I think we had one with Ernest [Sowah], the goalkeeper. He was injured on his knee and I had to think for myself and how should we and what exercises should we give him to do in order to speed up his recovery.

''So the first day was initially hard but after that it became a little easier. And as you get to know the team it becomes a little easier to work with them because you build a rapport.''
