Marseille rejects Reading bid for Jordan Ayew

Footy-ghana.com understands that Olympique de Marseille have rejected a 4 million euro offer from English Premier League side Reading.

According to our sources, the Marseille hierarchy were reluctant to let the Ghana forward leave, but would have listened to offers in excess of 5 million euros.

However, footy-ghana.com can reveal that talks between both clubs broke down after Reading refused to go higher than their valuation of Ayew.

Jordan Ayew is now set to stay with the French giants until January 2013 at the very least.
