Marseille manager declares Jordan Ayew a surplus

Ghana striker Jordan Ayew has been advised to seek for a new club this summer as his services will not be keenly needed at parent club Olympique Marseille in the coming season, reports in the French media indicate.
The leaders of Marseille have reportedly informed the 22-year old who just bagged a World Cup experience with the Ghana national team that new club manager Marcelo Bielsa does not count him in his plans for the upcoming season.
Ayew who bagged 5 goals in 17 matches during a January transfer window loan stint at Sochaux is already a subject of transfer speculations.
According to reports in the French media, the younger of the Ayew brothers in Marseille is being courted by Lille as they are likely to lose two of their stikers Salomon Kalou and Belgium’s Divock Origi, who is increasingly close to a Liverpool switch.
English clubs Stoke City and West Bromwich Albion as well as Germany’s Schalke 04 are also reported to be hoping to recruit the Black Stars striker whose contract expires in 2015.
Jordan Ayew is reportedly valued by Marseille at €4.5m.
