Marseille have penciled down Franck Tabanou as a replacement of Andre Ayew who likely to exit the club in the next transfer window. Ayew has been linked with several stellar European clubs including Arsenal and Inter Milan.
The 23-year-old has grown to become a key player at Marseille since joining the first team in the 2010/2011 season.
The son of Ghana legend Abedi Pele has scored a total of 19 goals in the Ligue 1 that last two seasons.
Marseille believe Tabanou, who has scored four goals in 28 Ligue 1 matches this season, can be Ayew’s heir apparent.
The 24-year-old is ready for the competition of playing for a big club. “My aim has always been to go to a big club,” Tabanou revealed.
