Manchester City have extended the loan spell of Ghanaian youngster Mohammed Abu with Norwegian giants Stromsgodset until the end of the season.
Abu, 19, was signed by the Eastlanders in August last year but farmed him out to Stromsgodset till June this year.
The extension of his stay will mean the teenager will play in next season’s Uefa Europa League with Stromsgodset.
“I’m very happy to continue developing here because I have enough playing time and that important for me. I went to City last week and they expressed delight at my form with Stroms so I’m happy to continue,” Abu told Ghanasoccernet.com
Abu has played in all eight matches for Stromsgodset which occupy second spot on the league table.
