Majeed Waris welcomes John Boye back to Ligue 1

Ghana star Majeed Waris has congratulated compatriot John Boye after inspiring Metz to secure qualification to the French topflight on Friday.

Metz beat Red Star FC 93 at home by 2-1 to cement their place. Boye has played an integral role in the fortunes of his side this season.

Metz have accumulated 34points, enough to top Ligue 2 table and qualify for next season Ligue 1 challenge.

Meanwhile, FC Nantes are reportedly interested in making Majeed Waris stay at the club permanent following his impressive performances since joining on loan from Porto at the start of the campaign.
