Ghana forward Abdul Majeed Waris trained for the first time with his new club Strasbourg on Wednesday.

The striker joined the French Ligue 1 side on Tuesday from Portuguese giants FC Porto on loan.

He was involved in some gym work before joining the group for drills and football work.

The ex-Lorient striker looks set to get his career back on track after he was reduced to the bench in Portugal.

Waris is a familiar face in France after spells with Lorient, Valenciennes and FC Nantes.
