Majeed Ashimeru scores as RedBull Salzburg win Austrian OFB Cup

Ghana midfielder, Majeed Ashimeru scored in RedBull Salzburg's win against Austria Lustenau in the Austrian OFB Cup finals on Friday evening.

Red Bull Salzburg triumphed over Austria Lustenau in a 5-0 victory at the Worthersee Stadion.

The former WAFA star scored in the 65th minute of the game.

Dominik Szoboszlai, Sekou Koita, Noah Okafor and an own goal scored by Dominik Stumberger were all on target for Salzburg.

Ashimeru joined Red Bull Salzburg from Ghana Premier League side West African Football Academy.

He earned a place in the RedBull Salzburg after a successful loan spell at Austria Lustenau and FC St. Gallen.

The youngster enjoyed the full minutes of the game.
