Maidens Beat German Side 30-0

Ghana’s Under-17 female team, the Black Maidens stepped up preparations for the Fifa U17 Women’s World Cup with an astonishing 30-0 victory over Nuremberg Under-15 boys over the weekend.

The Black Maidens are currently in Germany preparing feverishly for the world showpiece in Azerbaijan.

Head coach Mas-ud Didi Dramani is using the two-week training exercise to trim the rough edges by engaging in a series of low profile friendlies to fine-tune his team.

The Ghanaians have been paired in a difficult group that comprises China, Uruguay and Germany.

The team will open their campaign against Asian giants China on September 23, 2012.

Ghana played at the 2010 edition of the tournament held in Trinidad and Tobago.
