M&J outdoors Olympic Travel Package

Accra, July 29, GNA - M & J Travel and Tours, in conjunction with the Ghana Olympic Committee (GOC), on Monday, announced a comprehensive travel package for corporate executives and their employees interested in patronising the forthcoming Beijing 2008 Olympics Games in China next August.

The Ghana - Chinese Chamber of Commerce, (GCCC) a non-profit organisation is supporting the package, which is made up of visa processing, roundtrip airfare, internal transportation, accommodation and games tickets including a sight-seeing component. Mrs Cynthia Opoku-Manu, General Manager of M & J Travel and Tours in a release copied to GNA Sports explained that the package ranges from 2,900 dollars to 6,900 dollars that would give the clients the flexibility of choice of the various Games. She added that the package was in direct response to requests from some corporate executives.

Mr Stephen Shum of the GCCC said the initiative was designed to promote friendly and good business relations between Ghana and China. "We aim to unite citizens of our two countries through commerce and to assist and protect the interests of all existing and prospective investors".

This year's event, the 29th edition in the history of the Olympics is scheduled from August 8 - 24 in the Chinese capital, Beijing. About 10,500 athletes from 205 National Olympic Associations (NOC) will compete in 302 events during the two-week fiesta.
