Kayserispor star Asamoah Gyan says his first Turkish league goal has come at the right time.

The Ghana captain climbed off the bench to snatch the equalizer in the 3-3 draw at Fenerbahçe on Monday evening.

Kayserispor took the lead on 41 minutes courtesy of a neat strike by Bulut but Fenerbahçe S.K responded with three goals.

They pulled one back in the 68th minute before substitute Gyan scored to break Fenerbahçe hearts.

He rose above two Fenerbahçe defenders and headed the ball into the back of the net.

It was back-to-back goals for Gyan who scored in midweek to secure a quarter-final spot for Kayserispor in the Turkish Cup.

Gyan expresssed his joy on Twitter by posting: ''Lord I thank you...couldn't have been any special moment.. the time...massive team effort and support..we did this together @KayserisporFK.''
