Local Black Stars to train at Sogakope

The Local Black Stars are scheduled to train on the artificial pitch at WAFA SC in preparation for their 2016 CHAN second leg qualifier against Ivory Coast in Abidjan.

The home-based national are expecting in Accra this weekend from Obuasi, then head to Sogakope to put the finishing touches to their preparations at the renowned soccer academy.

Coach Maxwell Konadu and his boys will use facilities there and get used to the synthetic pitch.

The team will leave Accra on Wednesday for the crucial return leg clash.

Meanwhile, the Elephants returned to training on Wednesday with 21 players at the Robert Champroux Stadium.
