Ghana winger Lloyd Sam have been named among the all-time top scorers for MLS side New York Red Bulls.

The 31-year-old made the list after scoring his 10th goal of the season in his side’s 2-1 win over Montreal Impact last week Thursday.

Sam who moved to New Red Bulls in 2012 has now scored 20 goals since joining the Club from English League one side Notts County.

The former Leeds United man thus joins the likes of former French international Thierry Henry, ex-German international Lothar Matthäus, Australian attacker Tim Cahill, Péguy Luyindula and Jozy Altidore who all made the list for the top 10 all-time scorers of the Club.

The pacy winger made his dream debut for the Black Stars after coming on as a second-half substitute in the team’s 1-1 stalemate with Canada in an international friendly on Tuesday.

The former Charlton Athletic player has been instrumental since arriving at the Red Bull Arena three seasons ago helping them to win the MLS Eastern Conference in 2013 as well as the Atlantic Cup and the New York Cup.
