Liverpool and Arsenal clash at Anfield in a fixture that has goals written all over it. In 54 matches between the two sides 155 goals have been scored – the highest of any Premier League fixture.

Six points from two games has placed Liverpool top of the league table and given them two points ahead of title rivals Manchester City.

Arsenal are also enjoying their best start to a season since 2009, winning their opening two games against Newscastle and Burnley.

The last encounter between the two sides at the same venue resulted in a humiliating 5-1 against Arsenal.

With their attacking trio of Pepe, Aubameyang and Lacazette, Arsenal are confident they will return from Anfield with a favourable scoreline.

Liverpool who are unbeaten in their last eight matches against Arsenal in all competitions could extend their record should the likes of Mane, Salah and Firmino turn up for this encounter.

Liverpool forward Roberto Firmino is one goal away from becoming the first Brazilian player to score 50 Premier League goals. Eight of those goals came against Arsenal.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has faced Arsenal seven times without defeat in the Premier League.

Game kicks off at 4:30 GMT.
