Levante are waiting for a final medical report to decide on the future of striker Raphael Dwamena, GHANAsoccernet.com can report.

The 24-year-old is facing contract termination amid massive concerns over his health while on loan at Real Zaragoza.

The Ghanaian has ruled out of action indefinitely after being diagnosed with a heart problem.

He underwent a successful surgery back in October, 2019 in which doctors took extreme measures aimed at preventing a future attack.

A device known as Implantable Automatic Defibrillator or Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator (ICD) has been implanted in his heart to protect the player from a sudden heart attack.

The player's return to football is a mystery after having a surgery on the heart condition.

GHANAsoccernet.com understands Levante want to terminate his contract but will only do so after a comprehensive final medical report.

Levante, which holds the economic right of the Ghanaian are reported to have fulfilled their financial, medical and psychological support to the striker.

Levante's recent financial situation makes it untenable to keep the former FC Zurich striker.

The future of their top earners have come under scrutiny after investing 40 million Euros in acquisitions of players in the past two seasons and the increase has occurred in expenditure on wages.
