The President of the Ghana Football Association, Kwesi Nyantakyi has reiterated the need to move the association forward after resolving differences with his Vice George Afriyie.

Ghanacrusader.com earlier reported about the immediate and remote causes for this latest feud which was attributed to shambolic Black Stars tour of the US which saw players and officials transported in bits and pieces and in a chaotic manner are the main reasons for the latest impasse.

But after a meeting last Wednesday with Hon. Minister for Youth and Sports Isaac Asiamah, the two heavyweights have resolved issues amicable as they look to continue a peaceful working relationship.

In an interview with the press after the meeting, Nyantakyi said: “In every organisation there are differences, but the strength in the institution is your ability to overcome. This challenges and move forward. I think there no issues to contain ourselves with,” Nyantakyi stated.

This will come as great news to the football fraternity as the two heavyweights will continue their working relationship to thrive the growth of the sport.
