Lesotho 0-2 Ghana

Ghana regained control in Group D of the Brazil 2014 World Cup qualifiers after a 2-0 win at Lesotho on Sunday.
The Black Stars have a one point lead now and have toppled Zambia, who were held to a shock 1-1 draw in Ndola against Sudan.
Ghana knew victory in Maseru will better their chances of progressing to the final qualifying round and did not disappoint.
After reeling under pressure in the opening 40 minutes, the 2010 World Cup quarter-finalists opened the scoring against the run of play. AC Milan ace Sulley Muntari dinked in a free-kick which was headed on by Jonathan Mensah for centre-back John Boye to finish off.
The visitors held onto the lead to go into the break the happier of the two sides.
After the interval, Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah pulled out striker Richmond Boakye-Yiadom and brought on 2009 FIFA U20 star Dominic Adiyiah. Also, Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu substituted Muntari, who fumed and question the technical bench for that decision. The latter refused to join his colleagues on the bench and walked straight into the dressing room.
Lesotho coach Leslie Notsi was forced to replace first choice goalkeeper Mohau Kuenane just after the hour mark for picking up an injury. Phasumane Kholuoe took his position and in the 85th minute he picked up a ball from his net after failing to stop Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan.
Ghana now need a draw against Zambia at home in September to advance to the third qualifying round of the qualifiers. Summary
