Lawrence Lartey wins man of the match

Ghana defender Lawrence Lartey was adjudged the man-of-the-match in Ajax Cape Town’s 1-0 win over Golden Arrows in the South African Premier League on Friday.

Lartey displayed a master class performance at the back to ensure his side picked all points at stake.

The 22-year-old who was only making his third competitive appearances for the Club was descent at the back with some timely clearances throughout the entire 90 minutes on the game.

The Ghana U23 skipper who joined Ajax from Ghana Premier League side Ashanti Gold will be hoping to maintain his performance in subsequent matches for the Club.
