Las Palmas to miss Wakaso in Villareal clash

Ghana international, Mubarak Wakaso, is likely to miss Las Palmas’ clash with Villarreal this Sunday.

Wakaso, since joining the club this season, has been influential for Spanish outfit but will sit out during this weekend’s game due to the accumulation of cards.

The midfielder was cautioned in Las Palmas’ encounter last week against Getafe, increasing his tally to three, hence his inability to feature this weekend against Villarreal.

Wakaso picked his first yellow card this season against Barcelona and also in his side’s 0-2 loss to Eibar at home.

The Ghanaian, who joined the Spanish outfit a month ago from Scottish champions, Celtic, has been in his usual combative elements for the Los Amarillos.

This is the first time he will be missing a game for the Yellows.
