Real Madrid aim for third consecutive title and 13th overall Real Madrid aim for third consecutive title and 13th overall

Hello good evening and welcome to what promises to be an incredible UEFA Champions League final.

Liverpool and Real Madrid meet this evening in the 2018 Uefa Champions League final having entertained throughout the season.

The Merseyside club, who have won the European Cup five times, are the topscorers in the competition this campaign. Real edged past Bayern Munich in the semis, are hunting a hat-trick of Champions League triumphs after winning the competition in both 2016 and 2017.

Real Madrid are looking to win it for a fourth time in five seasons, while Liverpool are looking to become only the third side to win the competition six times - after 12-time winners Real and seven-time winners AC Milan.

Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has picked the same XI that started last year's Champions League final vs. Juventus, which means in-form Gareth Bale starts on the bench in Kiev. Isco starts for the holders, with Karim Benzema also in the Madrid team.

Liverpool, meanwhile, field the same lineup that started their semifinal second leg against Roma. Jurgen Klopp has been able to boost his bench with the inclusion of Adam Lallana and fit-again Emre Can.

Striker Danny Ings is not part of Liverpool's matchday squad, while Dominic Solanke, 20, has been named as a substitute.

Game kicks off at 6:45 GMT. And so do well to stay with us for the latest updates as we bring you live text commentary.
