Hello good evening and welcome to our live text coverage of the English Premier League. We know it is a little bit unusual to have games being played on a Tuesday evening but this is December, which means the games come in thick and fast.

Tonight, we enter week 17 of the league with defending Champions Chelsea up against Huddersfiled at 20:00 GMT.

Chelsea will be desperate to get back to winning ways in the Premier League against Huddersfield after the shock weekend loss to West Ham.

Marko Arnautovic's early strike was enough to earn David Moyes his first win as Hammers boss and condemn the Blues to their fourth defeat of the Premier League campaign.

Antonio Conte said after the game that Chelsea's Premier League title defence is now over, before adding it "never started", as they now sit 14 points behind pace-setters Manchester City.

Huddersfield, meanwhile, ended their four-game losing streak with a 2-0 win over Brighton.

Elsewhere, Burnly will square off with Stoke while Crystal Palace face Watford also at 20:00 GMT.
