Kwesi Nyantakyi meets family of late Uriah Asante

Ghana Football Association president Kwesi Nyantakyi has met the family of former Hearts of Oak star Uriah Asante who died of cardiac arrest last year.

Nyantakyi interacted with them ahead of a presentation from the Professional Footballers Association of Ghana and SIC Insurance.

Asante died at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital on 13 June after he was rushed there.

He was 24.

Asante also played for Tunisian side Etoile du Sahel.
