Kwarasey undergoes eye surgery

Ghana goalkeeper Adam Kwarasey is scheduled to undergo an eye operation on Monday.

The Stromsgodset shot-stopper has an eye defect and as a result missed out on Ghana’s squad for the World Cup qualifying fixtures against Sudan and Lesotho in June.

He is expected to recover fully before the Norwegian top-flight league resumes at the latter part of June.

The 25-year-old last line of defence, who toppled veteran Richard Kingson from the number one spot, is struggling to maintain that position after local keeper Fatau Dauda impressed at the last Africa Cup of Nations in South Africa.
