Midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah says Inter Milan will "fight for qualification at San Siro" when they host Eintracht Frankfurt in the second leg of the last 16 tie of the Europa League next week.

Asamoah lasted the entire duration of the game as the Nerazzuri's return to Italy with a goalless draw from Frankfurt.

Despite the stalemate, the Ghana international is confident of his side's chances ahead of the second leg in Italy.

"It was a tough match, It wasn't easy to play in this atmosphere tonight,' he said after the game.

"We had good chances in the first half, while they were more attacking in the second half and we struggled to keep possession. 0-0 is a good result that allows us to fight for qualification at home. Unfortunately, I'll be suspended for the return leg but I have full faith in my teammates."

Marcel Brozovic missed a penalty that could have handed the Milan club a slim victory in Germany.

Inter Milan created more chances in the first half but could just not break the deadlock.

The 2010 UEFA Champions League winners will host Frankfurt at the San Siro next week.
