Kuwaiti Premier League table toppers Al Qadsia have turned down two offers from unnamed clubs for Ghana defender Rashid Sumaila.

Sumaila, 23, is by far the most impressive defender in the Kuwaiti league but has grown frustrated following delays in arrival of his salary.

The 2014 world cup defender joined Al Qadsia on a three year contract after initially impressing out on loan from South Africa side Mamelodi Sundowns.

The ex-Asante Kotoko man has hugely impressed in the first half of the Kuwaiti league and his performance has attracted interest from some clubs in Europe.

With interest growing in Sumaila it would be interesting to see if Al Qadsia is able to hold on to one of its priced assets.
