The former Ghana FA Executive Committee member in an exclusive interview with FootballMadeInGhana.com, spoke about he grew up in a household firmly embedded in the Phobia culture and how that led to his passion for football at a very young age.

The experienced football administrator also noted the undeniable role his family played in the history of the club.

“I’ve said this a number of times, The history of Hearts of Oak can never be complete without the name of my family”

“My grandfather was a founding member of the club, his brother was the first field captain of Hearts of Oak, so the club has been part and parcel of our lives. Therefore when I was growing up, the passion for the sport developed naturally and that has kept me going throughout”

Kurt has severed ties with Hearts of Oak on an administrative level but he’s still very much an avid supporter and a shareholder of the club.
