Accra, July 3, The impressive gains made on the Ghana Stock Exchange last Monday could not repeat not be sustained during trading today as total volume of shares traded slumped to 152,130 from 3,875,900, the highest this year. The GSE All-Share Index inched up 0.83 points to end at 386.42 points from the previous 385.59 points. Shares on offer were pegged at 341,230 compared to bids of 4,459,420. Market capitalisation dipped slightly to 2,871.83 billion cedis as against 2,875.84 billion cedis on Monday. On the broader market, trading was brisk with three losers and two gainers. AGC, the market largest blue chip, lost the 50 cedis it gained on Monday to close at 22,000 cedis. CFAO lost one cedi at 30 cedis and FML lost two cedis to finish at 385 cedis. Enterprise Insurance Company gained 10 cedis to end at 540 cedis while PTC ended higher with 24 cedis to 300 cedis. Social Security Bank which sold over three million shares on Monday still dominated the sales as it sold 7,300 shares. AGC sold the lowest of 30 shares.
