Kuffuor Arrives In Ghana

Blacks Stars defender, Samuel Osei Kuffuor has arrived in Ghana after he was expelled from the national team’s camp in Mali for alleged indisciplinary conduct. Osei Kufuor, who also plays for German clubside, Bayern Munich, says he will make a formal statement on his expulsion from the national team in the near future.

He arrived in Ghana to a mixed welcome as soccer fans gave different interpretations to his expulsion. Some soccer fans who called into JOY FM expressed disappointment at the expulsion of Samuel Osei Kuffuor from the Black Star’s camp.

Others however sided with Coach Osam Duodu’s decision arguing that it is within his mandate to instill discipline, even if it meant the expulsion of the best players in the squad.

Osei Kufuor's German Club, Bayern Munich has asked him to return to camp immediately. Meanwhile, former Black Stars Coach Guissepe Dossena also arrived in Ghana this evening on his way to Bamako, Mali to witness the Cup of Nations Tournament.
