Ghanaian midfielder, Mohammed Kudus, will play under former Real Madrid coach Julen Lopetegui, who has been appointed as the new head coach of West Ham United.
West Ham announced the appointment of Julen Lopetegui as their new coach on Thursday, May 23, 2024.
The Spanish gaffer signed a two-year deal with an option to extend for a third year.
The former Sevilla coach comes in as a replacement for David Moyes, who left the club by mutual consent.
Lopetegui will begin his job on July 1 and is expected to lift the Hammers to the next level after a good spell with Moyes, who won them the Europa Conference League.
The former Spain U19 and U21 coach led Sevilla to win the Europa League and the last club he managed was Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Kudus enjoyed a good first season with the Hammers, scoring 14 goals across all competitions under his former boss, David Moyes.
