Former Ghana Football Association Vice President, George Afriyie, claims that Asante Kotoko and Zesco United blockbuster match is make or break for the Porcupines.

Kotoko must beat Zesco United in Ndola on Sunday and expect that Al Hilal also beat Nkana FC in the other group game in Sudan to advance to the knockout round of the competition.

The Porcupines could have secured an early qualification last Sunday if they had beaten Al Hilal in Kumasi, but a 1-1 draw has taken their chances to precarious position.

However, the former Ghana Football Association Vice President says Kotoko has done well and they need massive support to secure quarterfinal berth for the first time since 2005.

"I'm happy with where Kotoko has brought Ghana football to,however they need the support of all Ghanaians at this stage. Kotoko's game against Zambia is make or break for them"said George Afriyie on Asempa fm.

He also coerced Ghanaians to rally behind Kotoko because the Ghanaian giant's is hoisting the flag of Ghana.

"Kotoko's CAF Confederations Cup campaign is no more a Kotoko project, but Ghana project. We all have to pray for Kotoko to raise the flag of Ghana high"he concluded.
