Kotoko poised to bid GHC60, 000 for Techiman City midfielder Baba Mahama

Kumasi Asante Kotoko have reportedly tabled GHC60, 000 bid for Techiman City midfielder Baba Mahama.

Reports in the media indicate the player is likely to join the Reds after officials of the Ghanaian giants decided to cough out the said amount to secure the service of the talented player.

Kotoko have been in pursuit for the youngster since the second round of the 2015/16 season.

The Porcupine Warriors are now in pole position to sign the player following Techiman City’s demotion to the second-tier League.

Kotoko are yet to officially sign a player ahead of the new season.

The former Ghana Champions have handed trials to several players including Heart of Lions duo Isaac Quansah and Prince Acquah.
