Former Hearts of Oak winger Laryea Kingston believes that players of Asante Kotoko will need a psychologist to help them recover from last Wednesday's fatal motor accident.

The Porcupine faithful were massively hit with the news that the club's bus travelling from Accra to Kumasi had been involved in a fatal motor accident in Nkawkaw in the wake of their 1-0 defeat to Inter Allies in week 22 of the Ghana Premier League.

The players were left terrified by the incident after most of them suffered injury while assistant equipment officer, Kofi Asante was pronounced dead.

And according to Laryea Kingston, management of the club should provide the players with a psychologist who will help them recover from such trauma.

“The players should be given some psychological support by the club after that accident. A psychologist should be brought on board to help the players recover from the incident,” he said on the Legends Show on GHOne TV.

“I am extremely inspired by the massive support from Ghanaian clubs towards Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC,” he added.

Several Clubs and individual have sent in their support to the team encouraging them to look at a brighter future.

Kotoko have been excused from the weekends premier league game against their arch rivals Accra Hearts of Oak.
