Struggling Asante Kotoko thrashed lower division side AG Stars 9-0 in a friendly on Thursday.

Nine players including goalkeeper Ernest Sowah got on the score sheet as well as Kwame Boateng, Obed Owusu m Eric Donkor, Tuffour Frimpong and Richard Osei Agyemang.

Others including Kwadwo Poku, Frank Sarfo Gyemfi and captain Amos Frimpong all scored at the team's training Grounds at Adako Jachie.

Interim coach Michael Osei used the low profile friendly as a dress rehearsal ahead of his side's must-win game against Liberty Professionals on Sunday.
