Kotoko draw 1-1 with B.A. United

Fabulous Kumasi Asante Kotoko drew one-one with the B.A. United in a friendly football match played at the Kumasi Sports Stadium on Sunday.

Kotoko playing before their teeming supporters scored first in the 37th minute through an own goal by a defender of the visitors, who headed the ball into his own net a kick from Dan Acquah of Kotoko after a corner kick by Kwadwo Poku.

Captain Godwin Ablordey of Kotoko nearly increased the tally in the 40th minute but Amadu Losina in goal for the visitors saved it.

On resumption the B.A. boys made attempts to find the equaliser but the defence of Kotoko stood gallantly until the 77th minute when Kwame Andrews found the net for his side in a goalmouth melee.

Both teams exhibited good skills with each side trying to carry the day but all wasted the chances that came their way until Kumasi based referee Victor Degraft whistled for the end of hostilities.
