Asante Kotoko deputy coach Godwin Ablordey has blamed center referee Kenmnedy Padi for his side’s inability to pick all the three points in their clash against Inter Allies at Tema on Saturday.

Ablordey, a former Kotoko captain, accused referee Kenny Padi of favoring the home side during their GPL week 18 game at the Tema Sports Stadium.

“It was an interesting game, with both side going for the win. We all created a lot of chances but the referee was not up to the task,” he said.

“Some of the decisions that went against us were too harsh. All the 50-50 balls went to Inter Allies. I think the referee could have done better,” Godwin Ablordey indicated.

“Our boys did very well as a point is better than none. Looking at our congested fixtures, I think we will take it like that.”

Asante Kotoko are now second on the league log with 31 points.
