Brazil friendly to net stars $200,000

Ghana will earn an amount of $200,000 (GH305,000) from playing Brazil in a friendly next month.

The Ghana Football Association President, Kwesi Nyantakyi told footyghana.com that this was the amount offered by the company in charge of organizing friendlies for Brazil, Kentaro, adding that the fee had been agreed upon by the GFA for the September clash at Craven Cottage, West London.

Ghana was contacted by Kentaro to replace Egypt whose game with Brazil on the same date was cancelled due to security concerns.

Brazil normally earns a reported amount of $ 1 million every time another nation wants to play a friendly with the Selecao.
