Kobina Amissah is eager to return to coaching after Ghana Premier League side Elmina Sharks ripped up his contract.

Last week, Sharks severed ties with the Brazil trained coach after delaying to pen a new deal which would re-assign him to the role of Technical Director of the yet-to-be established Academy and Sea Lions FC.

Midway through last season, he was asked to proceed on leave when results were bad.

Amissah etched his name in the club’s history books by qualifying them to the Ghana top-flight after two seasons in-charge.

A statement released by Agence PR, the agency which represents the coach, says Amissah is available and ready to work with any club.

''Kobina Amissah is forever grateful to management, board of directors and owner of Groupe Ndoum Paa Kwesi Ndoum for the platform to be part of their historic feat as the first coach ever to secure Premier League football for the people of Elmina,’’ the statement read.

''The supporters were superb too especially during the struggle in the Division One League where things were really tough and rough.

''Amissah sees his exit from Elimina Sharks as an end of a tenure and hopes his future will be successful as more opportunities and doors will open for him.

"He is full of energy and raring to get back into coaching. Amissah will not take time off. Not at all.

"Amissah will not speak about his current situation and will appreciate it if the media respects his decision.''
