Kim Grant has ITC Problems

Malaysia side, Sarawak, is having problems obtaining the International Transfer Certificate (ITC) for their latest foreign signing of Kim Grant.

However, the ex-Ghanaian international striker travelled with the team to Alor Star in the hope that his ITC from his Portuguese club Imortal Desportivo will come through.

Team administrator Abdillah Mail said Sarawak had asked Grant to sort out his problem with his Portuguese club Desportivo, who are not willing to release his ITC as he has yet to complete his one-season stint with the club.

?The Portuguese season ends in June. We understand that Desportivo want Kim to complete his stint with them before he they?ll release his ITC. We have asked Kim to personally resolve the matter.

?We have already registered the player with the FAM after he passed his medical and Cooper?s Test. He will be take to the field against Kedah if his ITC arrives in time,? said Abdillah.

Sarawak have three other foreign players - strikers Robert Eshun (Ghana), Fernando Manuel Co (Portugal) and defender Rodrigo Anderson Silva (Brazil). Eshun is in his second year with the Crocs while Co and Silva made their debut against Perlis.
